BLOCK Director Anthony Eisen Sells $1.46M in Class A Shares
Afterpay co-founder and Block director Anthony Eisen sold 18,000 Class A shares over three consecutive days in early September, filings show.
Block (XYZ) director Anthony Mathew Eisen sold 18,000 Class A common shares in three equal open-market transactions between 2 and 4 September 2026, according to Form 4 statements of changes in beneficial ownership filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The combined value of the disposals came to roughly $1,460,280.
The sales were spread evenly across the three sessions, with 6,000 shares changing hands each day. The reported prices were $77.30 on 2 September, $83.57 on 3 September and $82.51 on 4 September, a spread that reflects a sharply higher print in the middle of the run.
After the final transaction Eisen was left holding 1,434,672 shares, down from 1,446,672 before the first sale. The disposals therefore represent a little over one percent of his reported position.
All three transactions carry the code S, which the filing describes as an open-market sale. That distinguishes them from codes A, M and F, which cover grants, option exercises and tax withholding and are described in the filing as routine compensation events.
Eisen joined the Block board through the acquisition of the buy-now-pay-later group he co-founded. The filings do not state a reason for the sales, and no trading plan is described in the disclosed text.
Form 4 disclosures are required within two business days of a transaction and are watched by investors as a signal of how insiders view their own holdings. At this scale, however, the sales leave the director's stake in the company largely intact.
