How we work

Sources

We work from primary sources: filings on SEC EDGAR (including 8-K and 6-K reports and Form 4 insider filings), FDA approvals, press releases and safety alerts, trial records on ClinicalTrials.gov, decisions of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and company press releases distributed through GlobeNewswire.

Selection

New filings and announcements are monitored automatically. We only publish on companies in our coverage list, and only events that are likely to matter to the company's shareholders. Routine or immaterial items are skipped.

Writing

An AI model (Anthropic's Claude) drafts each article from the source material alone. It is instructed not to add figures, quotes, price reactions or analyst views that are not in the source, and not to give investment advice or predictions.

Editorial review

Every article is checked and approved by an editor before it is published. The editor can edit or reject any draft. Because each article is the product of this combined process rather than the work of a single reporter, articles carry the byline REDFILED Newsdesk.

Accuracy and corrections

Figures and facts come from the source documents. If you find an error, email william@redfiled.com. We correct factual errors in the article itself.

Independence

REDFILED does not accept payment from companies to cover them and does not publish sponsored content.

Photos come from freely licensed sources such as Wikimedia Commons, Unsplash and Pexels, or from company press material, with attribution where the license requires it.
