NOVO (NVO) NORDISK's Cagrisema Beats Tirzepatide On Weight Loss In Trial
Phase 3 data show Novo's investigational CagriSema outperformed Eli Lilly's tirzepatide on weight loss in diabetes patients and beat placebo in obesity.
Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO) said its investigational once-weekly drug CagriSema achieved superior weight loss compared with tirzepatide in a head-to-head phase 3 trial, adding fresh competitive evidence for its next-generation obesity and diabetes pipeline. The data, from the REIMAGINE 5 and REDEFINE 9 trials, were disclosed at the company's Capital Markets Day investor briefing.
