Alongside the numbers, the company announced a reshuffle of its executive team and the appointment of a new director.
Net new ARR came in at $37 million and the dollar-based net retention rate was 109 percent. GAAP gross margin was 80 percent and non-GAAP gross margin 82 percent, while GAAP operating income reached $32 million and non-GAAP operating income $89 million.

On the leadership front, Hitesh Ramani has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer from his prior role as Deputy CFO and Chief Accounting Officer since 2021. Ashim Gupta will focus exclusively on the Chief Operating Officer role, concentrating on sales, demand generation and delivery, while Brad Brubaker becomes Chief Legal & Administrative Officer with added oversight of the People organization.
UiPath also appointed Yazdi Bagli, Executive Vice President of IT and Enterprise Business Services at Kaiser Permanente, to its Board of Directors. Bagli is currently on a leave of absence while pursuing a fellowship at Harvard University.
For the third quarter, UiPath guided to revenue of $440 million to $445 million, ARR of $1.992 billion to $1.997 billion and non-GAAP operating income of roughly $100 million. COO Ashim Gupta said the company exceeded guidance across all key financial metrics. Founder and CEO Daniel Dines pointed to AI as expanding what enterprises can automate while increasing the need for the orchestration, governance, and exactness that deterministic automation provides.
During the quarter UiPath launched Maestro Case, an AI-native case management capability for exception-heavy processes such as investigations and approvals, and Maestro Flow, a developer-first orchestration canvas that lets builders design, run and govern an end-to-end process as a single artifact.
